KUWAIT: Zain Kuwait hosted a set of exclusive sessions for its leaders and employees at its Shuwaikh HQ, delivered by a group of renowned global speakers and experts in leadership, employee experience, influence, and communication. This came as part of the company’s sponsorship of the Knowledge Club corporate learning and leadership excellence series in collaboration with ALGAS Events.
Zain invests in its people and focuses on building leaders who can navigate digital transformation and the fast-changing world of technology. By bringing world-class experts directly to its HQ, the company aims to offer high-impact learning experiences that enrich employees’ capabilities, spark new ideas, and support strategic projects across the business. The Knowledge Club series is a leading platform for executive and professional development. Since its launch, it has brought together an elite roster of international speakers and authors to deliver conferences, advanced workshops, and executive seminars that turn the latest thinking in leadership and management into practical tools that can be applied inside organizations.
At Zain, the exclusive sessions attracted strong participation from leaders and employees across all departments. The events created an interactive space for sharing experiences, discussing day-to-day challenges, and exploring new ways to strengthen a culture built on trust, belonging, and a distinctive employee experience. In his session Leading from the Jumpseat, global leadership expert Peter Docker presented a practical framework for a leadership style that focuses on empowering others, building trust, and knowing when to step back and hand over control.

From Ben Whitter’s session

Zain is investing in developing national leaders to lead digital transformation.
Drawing on his experience as a former Royal Air Force senior officer and professional pilot, as well as his work as an adviser to executives around the world, Docker showed Zain employees how humble leadership, clear communication, and calm decision-making under pressure can create exceptional opportunities for teams, especially in times of change and uncertainty. In The Holistic Employee Experience (HEX) workshop, Ben Whitter, one of the world’s foremost thinkers on employee experience and creator of the award-winning HEX model, focused on how to design truly human-centered organizations.
He walked Zain employees through how to shape an integrated employee journey from pre-hire to retirement, align internal culture with the brand promise, strengthen trust and belonging, and connect HR and organizational initiatives to clear employee experience and business impact metrics, including performance and customer satisfaction. During the Lead with Impact: Balancing Insight & Intuition session, leadership expert Betsy Myers, former adviser to US Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, offered Zain teams a deep dive into the art of leading with impact.
She highlighted the importance of balancing rational analysis with emotional intuition when making leadership decisions, and shared tools for building self-awareness, confidence, and inclusive teams where people feel valued and heard. Myers also drew on her experience in advancing women’s leadership and values-driven change across government, academia, and the private sector. In Culture, Cognition & The Future of Work, influence and leadership specialist Warren Cass introduced participants to new ways of understanding human behavior and stakeholder dynamics in a fast-moving, distraction-filled work environment.
Cass explored how individuals and teams make decisions, how influence networks form inside organizations, and how to craft compelling narratives that win support and move strategic plans from idea to execution. The session included practical exercises and simulations that helped Zain employees turn insights into concrete action plans they could apply immediately in their roles. Zain continues to support specialized leadership and capability-building initiatives, alongside developing sustainable in-house programs to prepare the next generation of Kuwaiti leaders. The company underlined its belief that investing in people is the foundation for sustaining its success and providing the best possible digital experience to its customers.
