KUWAIT: Winter Wonderland Kuwait opened for its fourth season on Thursday, unveiling a refreshed setup spanning more than 129,000 square meters. Abdullah Al-Rifaie, Spokesperson for Kuwait’s Touristic Enterprises Company’s which oversees the park, told KUNA that the new season features over 70 rides and attractions for all age groups. Highlights include an outdoor skating area, two horror and adventure castles and a stage for concerts and events.
“This season also introduces expanded events and services, with new food and beverage areas,” Al-Rifaie said. “We are collaborating with local partners to provide a complete entertainment experience for visitors.” He added that the park’s design incorporates visual elements inspired by snowy cities.
Al-Rifaie noted that Winter Wonderland Kuwait is a key seasonal destination that helps boost domestic tourism and support the local economy by attracting visitors from within and outside Kuwait. The park also provides investment opportunities for small and medium enterprises. As part of its social responsibility, the company has offered employment to 266 young Kuwaitis this year, continuing a practice in place for the past four seasons, Al-Rifaie said. — KUNA
