Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching on Tuesday and what’s on the radar for the Wednesday’s session. Buy now pay later “Squawk Box” will focus on the group Wednesday morning starting at 6 a.m. ET with Joe Kernen and Andrew Ross Sorkin. Shares of Block are up 14% in a month, but down 25% from the December high. Affirm is up 18% in a month, but nearly 7% from its February high. PayPal is down almost 5% in a month and is 26% from the December high. Cava shares plunge Revenue and same-store sales were not where investors wanted them. Cava is down big after hours, by about 22%. Cava is down 25% year to date. CNBC’s restaurant reporter Kate Rogers will pick up on Cava’s miss tomorrow and hit the rest of the fast casual market. Sweetgreen is down nearly 1% after hours. The stock is down 23% in a week after its earnings report came in sour . Bloomin’ Brands , parent of Outback Steakhouse, is down 27% in August. Brinker International reports tomorrow, they have Chili’s and Maggiano’s. The stock is up 6% since its last report three months ago. Shares are 20% from the February high. CAVA 1M mountain Cava Group shares over the past month. The big shorts Several big names on the latest list of most shorted stocks including Groupon , Icahn Enterprises , Rocket Cos ., Plug Power , Oscar Health , Hims & Hers Health and Kohl’s . Groupon is 29% from an Aug. 7 high. Shares are up almost 150% so far in 2025. Icahn is 46% from last August’s high. The stock is flat in three months. Rocket Cos. is 18% from the July high. The stock is up 57% in three months. Plug Power is down 54% since January. The stock is up 70% in three months, but it’s still just $1.54. Oscar Health is 37% from its September high, and up 4% over the past month. Hims is 35% from a February high. The stock has amost doubled in 2025. Kohl’s is 40% from its July high. The stock is up 70% in three months. Cisco reports after the bell Wednesday Catch the results and instant analysis on “Closing Bell Overtime” with Morgan Brennan and Jon Fortt tomorrow at 4 p.m. ET.
