KUWAIT: Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi announced on Saturday the launch of the online platform “Visit Kuwait,” effective November 1. The platform serves as the country’s unified gateway for visitors seeking tourist visas and information on cultural, artistic, and entertainment activities, the minister told KUNA. The platform features a smart interactive map, exclusive offers, comprehensive activity planning tools, and instant notifications in both Arabic and English, aimed at enhancing the visitor experience. Promotional advertisements have also been posted online to highlight its benefits for tourists.
Al-Mutairi said the launch reflects the Ministry of Information’s strategic vision to position Kuwait as a leading tourist and cultural destination in the region. It is part of a unified promotional effort aligned with the objectives of New Kuwait 2035, which seeks to diversify sources of national income. The platform will also serve as the official gateway for local and international companies to obtain residency visas for organizing events and activities, fostering stronger collaboration between the public and private sectors. “This initiative aligns with the political leadership’s vision to modernize Kuwait’s tourism and entertainment industries,” the minister added. — KUNA
