The 22-year-old agreed terms and finalised his switch to the Ligue 1 outfit on Tuesday.
The move brings an end to the midfielder’s journey with the Reds that began at the age of seven and saw him progress through the Academy set-up to make 14 appearances for the senior team.
Morton’s debut for his boyhood club arrived in September 2021 away at Norwich City in the Carabao Cup and he would go on to gain Champions League, Premier League and Emirates FA Cup experience throughout the remainder of that breakthrough campaign.
He then enjoyed successful loan spells in England’s second tier with Blackburn Rovers and Hull City before returning to the Reds last summer.
Morton made five outings for Arne Slot’s side across all competitions in 2024-25 as the Reds lifted the Premier League title.
He also played a key role earlier this summer for England U21s as they secured European Championship glory in Slovakia.
Everyone at LFC would like to wish Tyler all the very best for the future.
