KUWAIT: During an official visit to Kuwait Airways, the Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan, met with United Kingdom’s Trade Envoy to Kuwait, Lord Iain McNicol, who was accompanied by the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kuwait, Qudsi Rasheed and their delegation. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen and further develop relations between Kuwait Airways and various British companies in the commercial air transport sector, fostering cooperation that benefits both parties. During the visit, discussions also focused on developing cooperation in operational systems, reflecting joint efforts to strengthen collaboration at all levels for mutual growth and progress.
They also discussed future opportunities to support Kuwait Airways’ development and modernization plans in various areas, including strategies to further improve them. Kuwait Airways is keen to benefit from advanced British expertise in the aviation industry, which contributes to enhancing the quality of services provided to passengers and supports the national carrier’s goals of expansion, keeping pace with the highest global standards in the aviation sector. The visit concluded with a tour of Kuwait Airways’ exhibition gallery, where the British delegation explored the history of the national carrier and its achievements over the years.
