KUWAIT: Northwest Bilingual School students visited Kuwait Times on Thursday on a field trip to learn more about the history of the newspaper as the first English daily in the Arabian Gulf since 1961, as well as about the different sections of the newspaper, such as the editorial, social media, print and circulation departments.
During the tour, Head of Printing Department Al-Watheq Bellah Darwish explained to the students about the process of news gathering, writing and how a newspaper is published on a daily basis, through descriptions of the work of reporters, editors, proofreaders and page makers.

Content creator Dhoha Alessa took students on a tour around the newspaper’s warehouse and studio, where they learned about the behind-the-scenes process of social media video making.
