In a press statement marking the 15th anniversary of the NBAQ, Dr Al-Ali said the Bureau has continued its efforts to enhance the efficiency of the higher education system by updating lists of recommended universities and identifying distinguished academic institutions based on prominent international rankings. These initiatives, he added, support the state’s vision to build a world-class education system that fosters human capital development and advances sustainable growth.
He noted that the NBAQ is committed to further developing its institutional tools and mechanisms to promote a culture of quality and excellence across higher education institutions. Dr Al-Ali also commended the Bureau’s cooperation with state entities in institutional accreditation and in aligning academic programs with labor market needs, underscoring the importance of such partnerships in improving educational outcomes and enhancing competitiveness.
Among the NBAQ’s key achievements for 2025, he said, was organizing the Forum on Good Practices and Future Challenges in Higher Education Quality, which served as an effective platform for exchanging expertise between accreditation bodies and universities across Arab and Gulf countries. Dr Al-Ali expressed his gratitude to the NBAQ team for their dedication and hard work, emphasizing that the Bureau’s accomplishments reflect a spirit of national collaboration and a firm commitment to supporting Kuwait’s Vision 2035.
