KUWAIT: The Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) organized a workshop on financial disclosure statements on Wednesday, attended by 83 liaison officers from various government entities whose personnel are subject to financial disclosure regulations. Talal Al-Mutairi, Nazaha’s Procedures and Databases Review Supervisor, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the Authority conducts this annual training to raise awareness among liaison officers and ensure they are fully informed about the procedures.
Al-Mutairi explained that the one-day workshop, held at the Authority’s headquarters, covered key topics including the definition of financial disclosure, the categories of individuals required to submit statements, the roles of relevant authorities, and the services Nazaha provides to those obligated to comply with the regulations. He highlighted that the submission process is fully electronic, facilitating easier and more efficient declaration filings.
