KUWAIT: Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Wednesday visited the Operations Center, Security System and Crisis Management Center at the General Presidency of the National Guard. In a statement, the National Guard said Sheikh Mubarak praised the efforts of the staff and their ability to carry out assigned tasks with efficiency and competence, ensuring the Guard’s readiness to safeguard the nation’s security and stability under the guidance of its wise leadership.
During the visit, Sheikh Mubarak received briefings from Brig Gen Ghazi Sarhan, Head of the Operations Branch, and Col Eng Ahmed Ali, Head of the Security Systems Branch, on the center’s role in securing National Guard facilities and vital installations under its protection. He was also briefed on the operations center’s contribution to supporting state institutions through automated connectivity with ministries and agencies. The National Guard chief toured the center’s departments, inspected the monitoring systems and reviewed the functions of the main control center, stressing the importance of continued development to enhance operational readiness and inter-agency coordination. — KUNA
