KUWAIT: Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Abdullatif Al-Meshari urged desert-goers and camp owners to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations in force during the camping season, stressing that the Municipality will immediately remove any violations.
In a press statement issued on Monday during a field tour of Subiya (at the end of Jaber Al-Ahmad Causeway), Al-Meshari warned violators and those breaching regulations to promptly remove violations and waste, and to comply with the permitted areas and designated camping zones.
Violations are removed.
During the tour, which was attended by Kuwait Municipality Director General Manal Al-Asfour along with a number of senior and supervisory officials, he instructed the immediate removal of all violating camps without hesitation once they are detected. Al-Meshari emphasized the importance of enforcing municipal decisions regulating this year’s camping season, in cooperation with the ministry of interior and the Environment Public Authority. – KUNA
