KUWAIT: The Ministry of Interior’s Article Eight Affairs Office has announced that the “Submitting Status Modification and Proof of Seriousness” service, available through the unified government e-services application (Sahel), enables women whose Kuwaiti nationality was revoked under Article Eight to submit documentation for status modification.
In a statement issued Sunday, the ministry explained that applicants can access the service by selecting “Article Eight Affairs Services” within the Ministry of Interior section of the Sahel app, then choosing “Submitting Status Modification and Proof of Seriousness.”
Applicants who have obtained a passport from their country of origin should select the “Modify Status” option and upload a copy of the passport. Those who have not obtained a passport should choose “Proof of Seriousness” and upload any relevant certificate. The ministry noted that applications can be tracked directly through the Sahel app.
