KUWAIT: As part of its ongoing commitment to developing and improving healthcare services, the Ministry of Health held a meeting in Ahmadi Governorate, at the invitation of Governor Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and in the presence of Minister of Health Dr Ahmad Abdulwahab Al-Awadhi.
The session brought together members of the Governorate Council and local residents to discuss the state of health services in the region and explore ways to enhance and develop them, while also gathering residents’ feedback and suggestions. Dr Al-Awadhi reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to maintaining direct communication with citizens and translating their comments and proposals into practical measures aimed at improving care quality and meeting public expectations.
The meeting was attended by Ministry Undersecretary Abdulrahman Al-Kandari; Assistant Undersecretary for Dental Affairs Dr. Ahmad Asad; and Head of the Primary Healthcare Sector in the Ahmadi Health District Dr. Fahad Al-Azmi. The session reflects the health system’s dedication at all levels to engaging residents and strengthening its partnership with the Governorate Council to serve citizens and advance healthcare services.
Discussions also included a proposal to transform the Ahmadi Health District into a medical city, updates on the Sabah Al-Ahmad Specialized Medical City project, and a review of the future vision for developing Kuwait’s primary healthcare system. — KUNA
