KUWAIT: The Meteorological Department forecasts warm to mild daytime weather and cool to cold nights across the country this weekend. Acting Director of the Department, Dharar Al-Ali, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that Kuwait is currently affected by a northwesterly high-pressure extension, accompanied by a relatively moderate air mass and light to moderate northwesterly to variable winds. Al-Ali said the weather will be warm, with winds shifting from variable to northwesterly at speeds between 8 and 26 km/h. Scattered clouds are expected later in the day, and temperatures are forecast to reach between 28°C and 30°C. Sea conditions will be calm, with waves of 1 to 2 feet.
The weather will turn cool to cold, with light to moderate northwesterly winds ranging from 6 to 28 km/h and scattered clouds. The minimum temperature is expected to fall between 10°C and 12°C, while the sea will be slight to moderate with waves of 1 to 3 feet. On Friday, the weather will be mild, accompanied by light to moderate northwesterly to variable winds of 6 to 28 km/h. Maximum temperatures will range between 27°C and 29°C, and the sea will remain slight to moderate with waves between 1 and 3 feet. Friday night will continue to be cool to cold, with similar wind patterns and a minimum temperature of 9°C to 11°C.
Al-Ali added that Saturday’s weather will also be mild, with light to moderate northwesterly to variable winds and scattered clouds. The maximum temperature is expected to range from 26°C to 28°C, and the sea will remain slight to moderate with waves between 1 and 3 feet. Saturday night will be cool to cold and partly cloudy, with light variable winds of 6 to 22 km/h and minimum temperatures between 9°C and 11°C.
