KUWAIT: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received on Monday the Prime Minister of the friendly Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh and his accompanying delegation at Bayan Palace. An official reception ceremony was held for the visiting dignitary, during which the national anthems of Kuwait and Vietnam were played.
The Vietnamese Prime Minister then greeted senior Kuwaiti officials, including First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Shareeda Abdullah Al-Maousherji; Head of the Prime Minister’s Office Abdulaziz Dakheel Al-Dakheel; Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya; Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Abdullah Al-Ajeel; Minister of Oil Tareq Suleiman Al-Roumi; and Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Minister of Finance, and Acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Dr. Sabeeh Abdulaziz Al-Mukhaizeem.


Also present were Advisor at the Prime Minister’s Office and Head of the accompanying delegation Sheikh Dr Basel Hamoud Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Prime Minister’s Office Sheikh Khalid Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Ambassador Sameeh Jawhar Hayat, Kuwait’s Ambassador to Vietnam Yousef Ashour Al-Sabbagh, along with senior commanders from the army, police, National Guard, and fire force, as well as top state officials. — KUNA
