KUWAIT: President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan arrived in Kuwait on Wednesday on a visit, accompanied by an official delegation. At the airport, Sheikh Mohamed was received and welcomed by HH the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah were also present.
During discussions, both sides reviewed the strong bilateral relations between Kuwait and the UAE, underscoring the importance of consolidating cooperation frameworks to serve their mutual interests, particularly in the economic and development sectors. HH the Amir and Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed their support for initiatives and efforts aimed at achieving comprehensive and just peace, based on the two-state solution and a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to ensure regional security and stability.

The leaders also highlighted the need for sustained international efforts to recognize the State of Palestine and fulfill the aspirations of the Palestinian people. Key issues of common Gulf interest were discussed during the meeting, reflecting the close coordination and solidarity between the two countries.
