CAIRO: Kuwait Science Club secured on Saturday the Grand Prize at Egypt International Science and Technology Fair (EISTF 2025), in addition to winning two gold medals, one silver, and one bronze, marking a new scientific achievement that reflects the excellence of Kuwaiti youth in international forums.
The announcement came at the conclusion of the two-day EISTF 2025 held at the Education City in 6th of October City in Egypt, with wide participation and strong competition from delegations representing several Arab and foreign countries. The Secretary-General of the Club Ali Al-Jumah, expressed to the KUNA his pride in the successive accomplishments achieved by the Club’s members in various international arenas.
He affirmed the Club’s commitment to representing Kuwait honorably at the Egypt International Science and Technology Fair since its inaugural edition in 2016.Meanwhile, the Head of the Development and Competitive Programs Sector at the Club, Dr. Mohammad Al-Saffar, expressed his pride in the delegation’s victory, noting that this year’s Kuwaiti participation included four scientific projects presented by seven students, males and females, who had qualified through the Kuwait Science and Engineering Fair.
Al-Saffar emphasized that this achievement is one of the outcomes of the National Program for Supporting Young Researchers and Innovators, which aims to enhance students’ scientific research skills, creativity, and prepare them for international participation. The Egypt International Science and Technology Fair (EISTF 2025) is an international scientific competition showcasing many research projects by university students representing various Arab and foreign countries, in addition to Egypt, the host nation of this scientific event. — KUNA
