KUWAIT: The Embassy of Qatar in Kuwait hosted a reception on Sunday to mark Qatar’s National Day, attended by Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, along with a number of heads of diplomatic missions and accredited ambassadors. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the event, Al-Yahya praised the deep-rooted fraternal ties between Kuwait and Qatar, highlighting the strong bonds uniting the two leaderships and peoples. He reaffirmed the shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields.

Al-Yahya congratulated the Qatari government and people on the occasion, wishing Qatar continued progress and prosperity under its wise leadership. He also congratulated Qatar on the successful hosting of the Arab Cup 2025, commending the high level of organization and preparation, which he said reflected the country’s proven capability in hosting major international sporting events.
