KUWAIT: Kuwaiti Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraiaan, met on Thursday with Jordanian Armed Forces Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Yousef Al-Huneiti, to discuss issues of mutual interest, with a focus on enhancing and developing military cooperation between the two brotherly countries. The General Staff said in a press statement that the meeting took place during Major General Al-Huneiti’s official visit to Kuwait, during which he was received by Lieutenant General Al-Shuraiaan and his accompanying delegation.
The statement added that the Kuwaiti and Jordanian chiefs visited the Mubarak Al-Abdullah Joint Command and Staff College, where they received a detailed briefing on the college’s role in preparing and qualifying military leaders. The briefing covered its academic and training programs, designed to develop leadership skills and enhance the operational efficiency of officers. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Kuwait, Sinan Al-Majali; several members of the Military Defense Council; senior officers from both countries; and the Jordanian Military Attaché to Kuwait, Brigadier General Radwan Adibat. — KUNA
