KUWAIT: The Kuwaiti and French air forces carried out a joint air exercise, “Swift Falcon,” at Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base, with the attendance of Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Major General (Pilot) Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, French Ambassador to Kuwait Olivier Gauvin and senior officers from both sides.
In a statement on Monday, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army said the drill comes within the framework of strengthening military cooperation and exchanging field expertise between Kuwait and France. It added that the exercise contributes to raising combat readiness and enhancing the ability to conduct joint operations with high efficiency.
Major General (Pilot) Sabah Al-Jaber affirmed the General Staff’s commitment to developing training systems and boosting cooperation with friendly countries, praising the readiness and harmony demonstrated by participants in executing the various training scenarios. At the conclusion of the exercise, the attendees toured the base facilities and reviewed aspects of the drill and its outcomes, underscoring the importance of continuing such joint efforts to enhance security and stability. — KUNA
