KUWAIT: Kuwait’s Minister of Information Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, met with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, chairman of the beIN Media Group, on Thursday to discuss ways to strengthen media collaboration and exchange expertise. The meeting focused on developing joint initiatives in content creation and broadcasting. Both sides explored partnership opportunities aimed at supporting professional media work and keeping pace with rapid changes in the sector.
Al-Mutairi and Al-Khelaifi emphasized the importance of fostering communication between media institutions and leveraging successful experiences to raise the standard of Arab media. They agreed that strengthening ties and sharing expertise benefits the entire media landscape, KUNA reported. Youth engagement was also a key topic. The discussion highlighted the role of media in empowering young people, showcasing their creativity and increasing their participation across fields. Plans for professional training and development in media were also addressed.
