KUWAIT: The fourth Kuwaiti planeload departed from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base to Egypt’s Al-Arish International Airport, carrying 40 tons of food supplies destined for Gaza as part of the ongoing second Kuwaiti air bridge. Chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Khaled Al-Maghames told KUNA that the shipment, organized in collaboration with the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo and the Palestine Red Crescent Society, forms part of Kuwait’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to assist people affected by crises.
He added that the latest aid shipment was coordinated with several Kuwaiti charities, and confirmed that additional flights are being arranged in cooperation with Kuwait’s Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense. Al-Maghames expressed gratitude to all government entities involved for facilitating the delivery, reaffirming KRCS’s commitment to global humanitarian support.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian Red Crescent announced on Sunday the entry of the 16th convoy of “Zad al-Ezza … from Egypt to Gaza” into southern Gaza via the Kerem Shalom crossing, carrying about 2,400 tons of urgent food, medical, and relief supplies. The organization said the convoy included essential food items, over 100 tons of medical supplies, and other necessary relief materials.
The Egyptian Red Crescent launched the “Zad al-Ezza” convoys on July 27, delivering thousands of tons of aid, including flour, baby milk, therapeutic medicines, personal care items, and fuel, as part of ongoing efforts to provide food and humanitarian support to residents of the Gaza Strip. — KUNA
