KUWAIT: Kuwait Airways has held high-level discussions with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) to strengthen cooperation in training, scientific development and social responsibility initiatives. Chairman of Kuwait Airways Abdulmohsen Al-Faqan said on Wednesday the meeting focused on opening avenues for collaboration in key sectors such as energy and artificial intelligence. The two sides also explored ways to enhance human resource development and leadership training through specialized scientific and technical courses.
Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Faqan underscored the airline’s commitment to investing in its workforce, noting that strengthening employee competencies plays a vital role in advancing the company’s strategy for digital transformation and innovation. The discussions also touched on initiatives to promote scientific culture and improve Kuwait Airways’ human and technological capabilities. Al-Faqan emphasized that the visit reflects Kuwait Airways’ ongoing efforts to build strategic partnerships with both public and private sector institutions to support national development goals.
He added that Kuwait Airways, as a key component of the country’s economic infrastructure, remains committed to contributing to economic growth by forging partnerships that advance training and knowledge-sharing. In recent years, Kuwait Airways has signed several cooperation agreements with prominent national entities, including Zain, the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, the Tourism Enterprises Company, the Kuwait Oil Company, and the Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company, among others. — KUNA
