KUWAIT: The Embassy of the Republic of Korea hosted a reception on Tuesday, marking the occasion of National Foundation Day and Armed Forces Day. She said “Korea and Kuwait have stood together through moments of challenge and change. When Kuwait faced its darkest hour in 1990, Korea stood as a reliable friend, providing financial assistance and dispatching medical and air force units. Over the years, our cooperation has deepened, firmly grounded on mutual trust, respect and a shared vision for progress.” Korean Charge d’Affaires noted that both countries have transformed adversity into strength, citing their shared experiences of rebuilding after war and their parallel journeys toward modernization and innovation. “Our shared history of recovery reminds us that true strength lies not only in prosperity, but in the spirit of a people who never give up,” Kim remarked.
