The invention treats wastewater from sewage treatment plants using reverse osmosis technology, which filters water through a fine membrane to separate salts and impurities. It employs organic plastic materials with special properties designed to reduce both energy consumption and operational costs. KISR highlighted that the innovation offers substantial environmental benefits, reduces water pollution, strengthens water security, and contributes to sustainable development goals. The institute noted that the technology aligns with Kuwait’s long-term plans for water management and treatment. — KUNA
