KUWAIT: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah on Wednesday received the fourth edition of the book “Legal Regulation of Traffic in the State of Kuwait”, issued in both Arabic and English. The book includes the full text of Traffic Law No 67 of 1976, its executive regulations, and complementary ministerial decisions, updated with all amendments issued for 2025.
In a press statement, the Ministry of Interior said Assistant Director General for Education and Coordination Affairs at the General Traffic Department, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Adwani, presented the book in recognition of Sheikh Fahad’s efforts to support and develop the traffic work system and strengthen the legal and regulatory framework in the sector. The statement added that the edition, prepared by retired Major General Salem Al-Ajmi and Brigadier General Khaled Al-Adwani, serves as an updated legal reference for the Traffic Law, its executive regulations, and complementary ministerial decisions.
It aims to unify legal concepts among ministry staff and enhance the efficiency of field and administrative operations. Sheikh Fahad expressed his gratitude to those responsible for preparing the edition, praising their work in advancing the legal reference. He highlighted that the publication reflects the Traffic and Operations Sector’s commitment to developing traffic management in line with the latest legislation, ensuring traffic safety, and protecting lives and property. — KUNA
