Liverpool FC Women’s Hannah Silcock has signed a new contract with the club.
The academy graduate put pen to paper on the deal at the AXA Melwood Training Centre on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old defender has risen through the ranks to appear 18 times for the Reds’ senior team to date.
Speaking to Liverpoolfc.com, the No.34 said: “It’s really exciting. I’ve been at the club a long while, so to extend my stay is exciting.
“I think all the time you’re a player in the academy you’re pushing to get to the first team. To get there when I was 16 and 17 and get some minutes was good. Now I feel like I’m really part of the team and I can push that on further next season.”
She added: “I know that I can, I just need to keep pushing myself and hopefully get some opportunities.”
Silcock joined the club at the age of eight and made her senior debut during the FA Women’s Championship-winning season of 2021-22.
She was involved in Liverpool’s return to the Barclays Women’s Super League in the following campaign and then spent 2023-24 on loan at Blackburn Rovers.
Silcock, who has been capped by England at U23 level, played eight times for the Reds last season.
