TOKYO: The Gulf’s top media official is exploring new collaborations with Japan’s leading animation studios, marking the first major engagement in over 30 years. Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Director General of the GCC Joint Program Production Institution, met with executives from TRIGGER Inc., Nippon Animation Studio, and A-1 Pictures to discuss joint projects that combine Gulf cultural themes with advanced Japanese production techniques. “This visit aligns with our institution’s vision to develop our production tools and keep pace with global digital transformations,” he told KUNA.
Speaking to KUNA during his visit, Sheikh Mubarak said that the cooperation would focus on boosting the creativity of Gulf personnel through Japanese expertise. The discussions focus on partnerships that encourage international knowledge exchange and support innovative content creation.
