KUWAIT: British Academies successfully hosted the BA Carnival 2025 on Saturday, November 22, at The British School of Kuwait (BSK) campus in Salwa. The anticipated annual event brought together students, families, and members of the wider community for an afternoon filled with performances, activities, and cultural celebration. This year’s remarkable turnout reflected the growing enthusiasm surrounding the carnival and its significance within the community. The event was officially inaugurated by BSK’s Founder and Director, Madam Vera Al-Mutawa MBE, in the presence of BSK’s senior management team. Their attendance underscored the school’s longstanding commitment to creating enriching and memorable experiences for students and their families.
The carnival featured a dynamic program highlighting the talents of British Academies’ students. Energetic sports demonstrations and captivating performing arts displays entertained guests throughout the afternoon. Visitors also enjoyed an exciting selection of interactive stations, carnival games, magic shows and themed attractions. Among the most popular were an adrenaline-filled acrobat show and an engaging dinosaur performance, both of which drew large audiences and particularly delighted younger attendees.
In addition to the entertainment, the event provided parents with the opportunity to register their children for British Academies’ sports and arts programs. The strong interest expressed during the carnival highlights the community’s confidence in the high-quality training and comprehensive activity offerings provided by British Academies. British Academies proudly welcomed its main sponsors for the carnival: Diet Care Kuwait, a leader in health and nutritional services, and Maxus by Al Khaled Auto. Additional sponsors included Dental 8, National Geographic Ultimate Explorer, and Al Ansari Exchange, each contributing to the vibrancy and overall success of the event.
The variety of food options added to the festive atmosphere, offering a diverse range of cuisines from popular brands such as Vapiano, Taco Bell, One Eatery and Burgeritta. The variety of options attracted steady crowds, creating a lively and social dining experience for families. The BA Carnival 2025 once again achieved its goal of bringing the community together for a day of celebration, connection and shared experiences – reinforcing British Academies’ mission to create meaningful engagement opportunities for children and families across Kuwait.
