Each winning bidder will have their jersey shipped in a Liverpool FC-branded box containing a certificate of authenticity.
Remembrance Day poppies are worn to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community. The Royal British Legion relies on donations from the poppy appeal to help provide vital support to the Armed Forces community and their families to ensure their contribution is never forgotten.
LFC works closely with Merseyside Royal British Legion representatives to support their work in the local community, as well as LFC Foundation’s Military Veterans project. This aims to support and re-engage ex-military service men and women back into civilian life through the power of football.
One hundred per cent of the proceeds raised from sales of the LFC poppy appeal match-worn shirts will go directly to the Royal British Legion.
Last year, the LFC poppy appeal men’s and women’s shirts raised £48,000 for the Royal British Legion.
