GAZA: The Palestinian Civil Defense reported that thousands of displaced people in the Khan Younis area and the outskirts of Rafah, in southern Gaza, were trapped in their deteriorating tents due to heavy rains and severe weather conditions. The Civil Defense warned that many lacked adequate shelter and resources to cope with the disaster. Despite heavy growth in capital expenditures in the third quarter, cash balances at companies increased slightly, strategist Todd Castagno said in a note Tuesday.
