Over the past two decades, as an academic advisor, I’ve worked with thousands of middle school, high school and college students. I’ve seen what separates those who struggle from those who thrive. It’s not an IQ score, GPA, or even college acceptances to prestigious universities. The real predictor? Executive functioning skills, a set of cognitive skills that help us concentrate, organize, and manage emotions. When you learn these skills early on, you’ll be better at handling responsibilities and forming meaningful connections. Prioritizing grades, test scores, and college admissions as the main measures of success often undermines young people’s futures and strains parent-child…
What a weekend! Europe’s top leagues again delivered a ton of things to talk about, with high drama in Spain, big results in England and controversy in Serie A.To start, how about a Clasico that delivered on and off the field? Real Madrid took all three points with an impressive 2-1 win over Barcelona, though not every Madrid player was happy — Vinicius Jr. stormed off, visibly mad, following a second-half substitution — and the game ended in an on-pitch scuffle that saw several yellow and red cards dispensed after the final whistle. In the Premier League, champions Liverpool endured a…

Indeed, Karl has gone from rising star to regular first-team contributor at Bayern in only a matter of…

The brokerage slashed its rating to the equivalent of sell from neutral, and cut its price target for Berkshire’s Class A shares to $700,000 from $740,000, implying a 5% downside from Friday’s close of $738,500. “Beyond our ongoing concerns surrounding macro uncertainty and Berkshire’s historically unique succession risk … we think the shares will underperform as earnings challenges emerge and/or persist,” analysts led by Meyer Shields…
