KUWAIT: The Australian University (AU) successfully hosted its annual blood donation campaign, under the theme “Every drop of blood writes a new message of hope.” The campaign was organized by the Health and Safety department in collaboration with the Ripple Effect, a community project by the AU English Language Program that brings together student and faculty volunteers to give back to the community.
The blood drive brought together staff, students, faculty members, and contractors, all united by one purpose: to give back to the community and support lifesaving efforts.
The university hosted the initiative in coordination with the Central Blood Bank of Kuwait, to ensure a smooth and impactful donation process for all participants. Commenting on the campaign, Mariam Al Maraghi, Manager of Health, and Safety at AU, said: “To everyone who extended their arm out of love and generosity, thank you from the heart. Every drop of blood writes a new message of hope in someone’s life.”
