KUWAIT: Abdullah Al-Salem University announced on Sunday the application period for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, which will run from December 9 to 14. In a press release, the university stated that the online application system for Kuwaiti students will be accessible via its official website: https://admissions.aasu.edu.kw. Applicants are required to meet the admission criteria outlined in the university’s online guide. The university emphasized the importance of activating the authentication feature in the My Identity application to access accounts on the admissions system.
The university clarified that private school students must upload all required documents by December 11. Applications from students who fail to meet these requirements will be cancelled after the deadline. Students who obtained their high school diplomas outside Kuwait are required to submit their original diplomas and private education equivalency certificates to the Admissions and Registration Department by the same date. For non-Kuwaiti applicants who meet the requirements, applications will be accepted from December 16 to 18. High school diplomas must be submitted in person at the Admissions and Registration Office at the Khaldiyah campus, Gate 1.
The first day of non-Kuwaiti applications will cater to students from GCC countries who graduated under the unified curriculum in Kuwait, as well as high-achieving students with grades of 97 percent or higher from the same curriculum. The second day is designated for children and spouses of faculty members, academic support staff, language instructors, and university employees, in addition to students with grades of 95 percent or higher under the unified curriculum. The final day for all applicants will run from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
The university also noted that students graduating from the English secondary school system wishing to enroll must visit the Admissions Office within two working days of the announcement of their results and bring their original diplomas. Students are reminded that withdrawal from the university or cancellation of an application must be completed personally and cannot be conducted by a guardian.- KUNA
