KUWAIT: Kuwait Municipality affirmed Wednesday that it will continue its field inspection campaigns targeting health licenses for commercial establishments and advertising permits of all types across the country’s six governorates, as part of efforts to ensure full compliance with municipal regulations and licensing requirements. Head of the Farwaniya Municipality inspection team Turki Al-Hazza said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that a field tour conducted in the Ardiya Industrial Area aimed to enhance oversight of advertising licenses and verify shop owners’ adherence to approved regulations.
Al-Hazza stressed the importance of obtaining all required licenses in accordance with Kuwait Municipality rules, underscoring that compliance is essential to maintaining order and safeguarding public interest. During the campaign, inspection teams recorded 12 violations of various types and issued nine warnings, granting establishments a grace period to rectify their status before further penalties are imposed.
He affirmed that municipal inspection teams will not hesitate to take the necessary regulatory and legal measures within the framework of applicable laws to ensure adherence to established controls and systems. Al-Hazza called on business owners to abide by municipal laws and regulations, noting that inspection teams in all governorates are intensifying field campaigns to enforce Kuwait Municipality’s rules and uphold standards across commercial sectors. — KUNA
