KUWAIT: The Meteorological Department has forecast continued stable weather conditions across the country, with a chance of fog forming on early Monday morning, which may lead to reduced horizontal visibility. Acting Director of the Meteorological Department Dharar Al-Ali told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the country is currently affected by an extension of a high-pressure system accompanied by a humid air mass and calm winds, contributing to generally stable weather conditions.
Al-Ali explained that the high-pressure system is expected to cause fog formation on Monday morning, with horizontal visibility dropping to less than 1,000 meters in some areas, particularly in coastal regions.
He noted that minimum temperatures are expected to range between 10 and 13 degrees Celsius, while maximum temperatures are forecast to reach between 27 and 29 degrees Celsius. Al-Ali urged motorists on highways and seafarers to exercise caution due to reduced visibility in some areas, and advised the public to follow weather updates through the department’s official website, mobile application and social media platforms to stay informed of the latest developments. — KUNA
