KUWAIT: The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital organized an awareness lecture, which addressed the vital role of physical therapy and its importance in treating patients and improving their quality of life. The lecture highlighted the role that families play in supporting patients during the various stages of treatment, thereby contributing to enhancing the efficiency of rehabilitation programs and achieving the best health outcomes.
The lecture was part of an awareness day organized for physical therapy patients in the women’s physical therapy department, with the aim of educating patients and their families on how to properly care for patients throughout the treatment period in the hospital and at home. The event emphasized that the family is a key element and essential partner in the physical therapy journey, given its influential role in improving the patient’s mental and physical condition.
The event also honored Dr Jamal Mohamed Jamal on the occasion of his appointment as Director of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital and Head of the Medical Board, in recognition of his efforts and leadership role in developing health services and improving the level of care provided to patients.
