Officials gather for luncheon honoring Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Salwa Palace
KUWAIT: Kuwait’s top leadership weclomed Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, in a series of formal engagements on Tuesday.
Sheikh Abdullah was received by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace, where the UAE official conveyed greetings and appreciation from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Vice President and Prime Minister of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He also extended wishes for the Crown Prince’s health and well-being.
Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled conveyed his greetings to the UAE leaders, wishing them good health and prosperity. The meeting was attended by senior Kuwaiti officials, including Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan, and Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya.

Minister of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah holds a luncheon honoring the UAE Deputy Prime Minister.
Sheikh Abdullah also met with His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah at Bayan Palace. During the meeting, he conveyed greetings from the UAE leaders, wishing the Kuwaiti Prime Minister and the people of Kuwait health, prosperity and continued progress. Sheikh Ahmad returned the greetings and extended wishes for health, well-being, and further advancement to the leadership and people of the UAE. The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Al-Yahya, Acting Head of the Prime Minister’s Office Sheikh Khaled Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Ambassador to the UAE Jamal Al-Ghunaim and Assistant Foreign Minister for GCC Affairs, Ambassador Najeeb Al-Badr.
Later, a lunch was hosted in honor of Sheikh Abdullah at Salwa Palace by Minister of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah. The gathering included First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister Al Yahya, and other senior state officials. — KUNA
