KUWAIT: talabat announced the results of its 2025 Giving Back Impact, highlighting Kuwait as one of the platform’s most active and generous markets across the Middle East and North Africa. During 2025, talabat’s platform enabled over €20 million in rider tips across the region, with Kuwait ranking among the top contributing countries, recording €1,562,000 throughout the year. This strong participation reflects the everyday generosity of customers in Kuwait and their continued support for rider livelihoods.
In parallel, talabat’s in-app Giving Back features generated more than €6.45 million in charitable contributions across MENA, through partnerships with over 50 licensed regional and international charities and NGOs, reinforcing talabat’s role as one of the region’s largest digital platforms for everyday giving.
By embedding donations and tipping directly into the ordering experience, talabat enables customers in Kuwait to support communities and riders seamlessly as part of their daily transactions. “Our platform has turned small, everyday gestures into a powerful support system for the fleet,” stated Bader Al-Ghanim, VP and Managing Director of talabat Kuwait. “Through the rider tipping feature, we have created a transparent and accessible way for customers to give back. In 2025, talabat users across MENA contributed: €6.45 million through accredited charity partners and €20,037,000 in rider tips, paid 100 percent directly to riders. In Kuwait specifically, tipping activity reached €1,562,000, underscoring the market’s strong engagement and commitment to supporting riders.
All charitable contributions were routed exclusively through licensed and verified partners, supporting food security, humanitarian relief initiatives, and rider livelihoods, while ensuring full transparency and accountability.
Giving Back and rider tipping are permanent features within talabat’s platform, designed to make giving simple, traceable and scalable. Funds flow directly to riders and partner organizations, with no platform retention.
