KUWAIT: Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi inaugurated Sunday the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak Health Center in Farwaniya Governorate, implemented in cooperation with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare to serve more than 30,000 residents.
In a press statement following the inauguration, Al-Awadhi said the center includes a wide range of specialties in primary and specialized healthcare, including clinics for chronic diseases, diabetes, pediatrics, the elderly and maternity, in addition to dental services and supporting laboratory, radiology and pharmacy services.

He added that the center also features emergency rooms and administrative, sterilization and nursing services, noting it is considered among advanced systems and was designed according to modern standards ensuring smooth patient flow and faster entry and exit.
Al-Awadhi explained that this integrated primary healthcare system represents the first line of defense in reducing pressure on hospitals, noting that additional centers are set to open soon under the Ministry of Health’s plan.
For his part, Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Al-Sabah said the center constitutes an addition to healthcare services in the area, which includes two health centers, within the state’s efforts, represented by the Ministry of Health, to provide the best medical services to patients. — KUNA
