KUWAIT: Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and Television Affairs at the Ministry of Information, Turki Al-Aradhi, announced that the ministry will hold a ceremony to unveil Kuwait TV’s Ramadan programming schedule on February 2 at the Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center. The ceremony will showcase all aspects of the upcoming programming, including its content and overall vision.
In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Monday, Al-Aradhi explained that production companies, program sponsors, advertising agencies, and all media professionals will be invited to the event. This initiative reflects the ministry’s commitment to strengthening direct communication with its partners in the media content industry and supporting the national media landscape.
He emphasized that this step aligns with the ongoing support of the country’s political leadership for national media and its enlightening mission. He noted that the ceremony is being held under the directives of the Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, embodying the ministry’s strategy to create purposeful media content that promotes societal values, meets public expectations, and fosters collaboration with government entities, the private sector, and civil society.
Al-Aradhi stated that the Ministry was keen to ensure that the upcoming Ramadan programming schedule would be distinguished in terms of concept, content, and production, befitting the tastes of Kuwait TV viewers and reinforcing its position as a comprehensive national media platform.
He noted that this event is the first of its kind and represents an important opportunity for advertising and public relations companies to closely examine the nature of the programs available during the holy month of Ramadan and explore avenues for cooperation that serve the national media interest and enhance the sustainability of local television production. — KUNA
