KUWAIT: Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Lt Gen Khaled Al-Shuraian visited the Amiri Guard on Thursday, where he was received by Commander of the Amiri Guard Maj Gen Bader Al-Sahloul along with a number of Amiri Guard officers. The General Staff said Lt Gen Al-Shuraian was briefed during the visit on the duties and responsibilities of the Amiri Guard, as well as its training programs and development plans aimed at enhancing the capabilities and efficiency of its personnel.
The statement added that Al-Shuraian attended a field demonstration in which Amiri Guard personnel showcased aspects of their operational skills and level of coordination in carrying out missions, reflecting their high degree of professionalism. The visit also included a presentation of the vehicles and weapons used by the Amiri Guard..
Al-Shuraian affirmed that the advanced level of performance and discipline he observed reflects the significant efforts devoted to the preparation and qualification of Amiri Guard personnel. He noted that the nature of the Guard’s missions requires a high level of competence, readiness, continuous training and both mental and physical preparedness.
He stressed the importance of continuing to develop training programs in line with the latest military methods, and of strengthening integration and coordination among the various army units to unify efforts, raise overall performance efficiency and enhance the ability to carry out missions with a high degree of professionalism. – KUNA
