KUWAIT: Minister of Public Works Dr Noura Al-Mashaan has affirmed that ministry teams are continuing field operations and major maintenance works in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, particularly on Road 251, as part of ongoing efforts to monitor progress in the implementation of new road maintenance contracts and to enhance infrastructure efficiency. In a press statement issued on Sunday, Al-Mashaan said the works include the laying of the final five-centimeter asphalt layer (Type 3), in addition to completing associated infrastructure works.
These include cleaning and inspecting stormwater drainage and sewage networks to ensure their readiness and operational efficiency. She stressed the ministry’s commitment to adhering to approved timelines and quality standards, noting that continuous on-site supervision aims to accelerate completion rates and ensure that all works are executed in accordance with the highest technical specifications, ultimately improving the level of services provided to citizens. — KUNA
