KUWAIT: Acting Director General of the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Mohammad Al-Mannai, met with Chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Khaled Al-Mughamis, to explore ways to enhance joint cooperation, particularly in utilizing media to highlight Kuwait’s humanitarian initiatives and its noble mission. During the meeting, Al-Mannai underscored KUNA’s commitment to supporting charitable and humanitarian efforts, especially those of the Red Crescent, through professional and responsible media coverage. He also commended the Society’s pioneering role at both regional and international levels.
For his part, Al-Mughamis emphasized the critical role of media as a key partner in conveying humanitarian messages and showcasing relief efforts. He highlighted the importance of developing effective media cooperation mechanisms to serve common humanitarian objectives, noting that the exchange of expertise and integration of efforts among relevant state entities represents a model for distinguished institutional humanitarian work.
