KUWAIT: Zain Kuwait announced the successful conclusion of the fourth edition of the ‘Kontinue’ social entrepreneurship program, which the company has supported as part of its strategic partnership with LOYAC, spanning more than two decades. This aligns with Zain’s sustainability strategy, which focuses on supporting education and empowering young entrepreneurs. Zain took part in honoring the winners during the closing ceremony hosted by Boursa Kuwait, attended by LOYAC Founder and Chairperson Faraa Al-Saqaf, Zain Kuwait Community Partnerships and Youth Empowerment Team Leader Faisal Al-Duwaihees, as well as representatives from sponsors and partners.
The program aimed to empower student changemakers and young startup founders to transform their ideas into scalable, impact-driven business models through an intensive six-week journey that combined entrepreneurial thinking with hands-on application. The program also helped equip participants with essential skills and build a professional network to support the launch or expansion of their ventures. The training plan included in-person sessions and specialized workshops delivered by innovation experts from various sectors. Topics covered understanding market needs, value creation, and identifying target segments, in addition to key startup-building and operational tracks such as revenue models, attracting funding and investment, preparing legal requirements, and team management.

Participants also leveraged Babson’s Entrepreneurial Thought & Action theory while integrating a social impact lens into their projects, with a dedicated mentor assigned to each team to follow up on progress and provide practical guidance throughout the program. The fourth edition concluded with 27 participants across 23 youth-led projects. Over the six weeks, participants progressed from self-discovery to building their business model, moving through creative design and financial planning, and culminating in pitching their projects to a specialized judging panel, demonstrating their readiness to turn ideas into solutions with tangible societal impact in Kuwait.
Zain’s ongoing support for this initiative stems from its commitment to developing youth capabilities, fostering community innovation, and supporting the growth of the startup ecosystem in a way that contributes to energizing the national economy. This builds on the company’s long-standing community partnership with LOYAC and the positive cumulative impact achieved through their joint programs over the years.
