KUWAIT: Kuwait University Director Dr Dina Al-Maim on Saturday reaffirmed the university’s commitment to providing well-organized exams and developing its services to ensure high standards of quality and discipline. Dr Al-Maim made the remarks during a field visit to the colleges of Sabah Al-Salem University City to monitor the implementation of the second-chance academic aptitude tests. A total of 9,513 male and female students registered for the exams, conducted using both paper and electronic systems.
During her visit, she met with students, parents, and supervising committee members to review the readiness of the teams and the effectiveness of the adopted organizational procedures. Dr Al-Maim noted that this year witnessed the highest number of participants in the history of the academic aptitude tests. She emphasized the university’s commitment to providing a safe and comprehensive educational environment, prioritizing student safety and comfort by preparing the exam halls and streamlining procedures.
She praised the efforts of supervising committees across the colleges, commending their organization and preparation to ensure the tests’ success while maintaining the highest standards of discipline and quality. The academic aptitude tests, held in Arabic, English, and mathematics, aim to measure students’ readiness for various university specializations and uphold principles of fairness and transparency in admissions.
