KUWAIT: Zain Kuwait sponsored the SAP Business Suite Innovation Day, titled ‘Kuwait’s Digital Future: Driven by Connected Applications, Data and AI’. The event was joined by senior executives, decision-makers, and industry experts from across Kuwait’s public and private sectors. The company participated in the opening ceremony held under the patronage and attendance of Minister of State for Communications Affairs Omar Al-Omar, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Kuwait Hans-Christian Freiherr von Reibnitz, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Aseel Al-Munaifi, Chief Enterprise Business Officer at Zain Kuwait Hamad Al-Marzouq, Chief Technology Officer Daaij Al-Oud, Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer Waleed Al-Khashti and Country Managing Director at SAP Kuwait Sundus Boushahri.
Zain’s support to this event comes as part of its strategy to drive Kuwait’s digital agenda through its partnerships in the technology sector, such as the close partnership with the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy to roll-out the smart meters projects, which back in 2017 marked one of the first digital transformation collaborations in Kuwait. In addition, the company collaborates with leading global technology players like SAP to enable institutions to adopt cloud solutions and rely on trusted data and artificial intelligence to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and support the objectives of New Kuwait Vision 2035 to build an advanced economy based on innovation and knowledge.
