KUWAIT: Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Acting Minister of Finance, and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Dr Sabeeh Al-Mukhaizeem, met with the Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Kuwait, Steven Butler, to explore avenues for enhanced cooperation. A ministry press release on Monday stated that discussions focused on collaboration in electricity, water and renewable energy, as well as on strengthening technical and investment partnerships. The two sides also reviewed potential future projects with specialized US entities.
Dr Al-Mukhaizeem highlighted the strategic relationship between Kuwait and the United States, underscoring the Ministry’s commitment to knowledge exchange and support for energy transition initiatives. For his part, Butler commended Kuwait’s efforts in developing its electricity and water sectors and reaffirmed the US’ readiness to advance joint cooperation.
