The relaunch of Fan Forums – in conjunction with its official Supporters Board – highlights the club’s commitment to engage with supporters, strengthen dialogue and increase levels of fan involvement.
There are three Fan Forums in total: Ticketing, Matchday Experience and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Each forum will comprise of eight to 12 fans, representing different constituencies within the supporter base (such as disabled supporters, season ticket holders, Members and OLSCs).
To ensure consistency, each forum will be chaired by a member of the club’s Supporters Board and sponsored by a senior LFC staff member. Successful candidates will be invited to meet approximately three times a season for their respective forum and give about two hours of their time for each meeting.
The key to being involved with the Fan Forum is the commitment to attend and actively participate in every meeting and represent the voice of the fan.
There are a limited number of spaces available in each group and applicants from all backgrounds are welcome to apply.
In line with Red Together, the club’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, each forum should represent the diverse LFC fan base and we are keen to see applications from: wheelchair users, those with hidden disabilities, youth representatives (aged 18 to 21), away travelling supporters (both domestic and European), the OLSC community, club Members of all types and LGBT+ representatives.
If you think you have a good knowledge of the issues that matter to fans and can dedicate time and energy to helping, please apply via this online form. If you require an alternative format, please contact the accessibility team on 0151 264 2500.
After the application period closes, applications will be reviewed and shortlisted with those who have the most relevant experience and meet the constituent needs of each group.
Where we have more than one appropriate candidate, there will be an independent democratic voting process to determine who will be successfully appointed into the vacancy.
