KUWAIT: As part of the official visit of the Prime Minister of the friendly Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, his wife, Le Thi Bich Tran, visited Asma Bint Yazid Al-Ansariyah Primary School for Girls on Monday. She was accompanied by Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, who presented her with a traditional Kuwaiti dress as a symbol of hospitality and warm welcome.
The visit included a tour of the school’s facilities, where Tran was briefed on the curriculum and the latest educational methods employed. She also attended part of a class, observing students in their learning environment. A number of students, dressed in traditional Vietnamese attire, welcomed the guest in a gesture highlighting the strong cultural and educational ties between Kuwait and Vietnam. The Vietnamese Prime Minister and his delegation arrived in Kuwait on Sunday on an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations. — KUNA
